Scott Brown, a young Republican who just won the coveted Senate seat of recently deceased politician Ted Kennedy posed nude for Cosmopolitan magazine.
Yee-ow-za.
Massachusetts residents are smiling -- and hoping this controversial candidate will help them move on to do bigger and better things.
SCOTT BROWN BRINGS SEXY BACK TO SENATE
Back in 1982, Scott Brown was a 22 year old law student who paid some of his bills modeling. At that time, while cramming for finals, he was voted "America's Sexiest Man" in a contest -- winning him the chance to be the nude centerfold for the June edition of the racy womens magazine.
Cosmopolitan writes,
Long before he was a politician, the Republican candidate vying for Ted Kennedy’s U.S. Senate seat posed nude for the centerfold of Cosmo. Scott Brown won our “America’s Sexiest Man” contest and appeared in the June 1982 issue. In those days he was a 22-year-old law student at Boston College who was cramming for finals just days before stripping down for our photographer.
Regarding their choice of candidates in the competition that is supposed to reflect the men American women would most like to see naked, the magazine staff says,
“Here at Cosmo we’ve had bachelors go on to be actors, models, and reality show stars, so we’re thrilled that one has gone on to become a politician,” says Kate White, Cosmo’s editor in chief. Obviously we know how to pick ’em. This particular bachelor has always had political ambitions and even admitted to being “a bit of a patriot” when we interviewed him.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT SCOTT BROWN BEING ELECTED TO SENATE?
How does the ladies journal feel about the politician now? That's pretty clear -- they like him, Republican or not. They write,
Compared to some men in the GOP, this politician looks pretty damn good for his age. We bet he still has an amazing body underneath his suit and tie. There have been plenty of pics of our president running around without his shirt, so now that a precedent has been set, we’re hoping to see Scott shirtless again.

EDITORIAL NOTE: If our hunch is correct and Brown does not fall victim to the fates of Bill Clinton, John Edwards, and other young politicians who get caught with their proverbial hand in the cookie jar (or on women other than their wives with alarming regularity), we suspect Brown will rise to the position of President (or at least be nominated as a running mate of another handsome orator like Mitt Romney) and be the new face of the Republican party. We're not attached to this prediction coming true -- we're just payin' attention to this one...
What do YOU know about this candidate? Are you happy or sad that a republican took the coveted Massachusetts democratic seat? If he a political candidate whose career you will follow to see where he is going? Should America continue to elect politicians who are attractive and glib speakers with a sense of humor and a background in public speaking to be the face of the country internationally -- or should we elect our president solely based on experience? Well, let's see... We've had a coke-snortin' mayor re-elected, a sitting President caught with his pants down (and LIED to the American public about it) etc., etc.... This was 28 years ago, and Cosmo has NEVER really been considered "racy"... (It's not Playboy, for God's sake!) The pic looks pretty innocent by today's standards... I would write it off to youthful indiscretion, nothing more. I love the guy, and the liberal media should cut him a break or risk further reminders of their less-than-decent representatives!
It's better than a car under water! Enough said......
Scott Brown is definitely in great shape and has a nice body, but some things just cannot be un-seen. Couldn't he have shaved a little before the photoshoot?? *Pokes eye out with fork*
Great article! I love your writing--all of it!

A youthful indiscretion??? I see nothing wrong with that. In spite of America's seeming openness to sexuality, we really contiue to be a deeply Puritanical culture. As an Obama supporter, give Senator-elect Brown a break!!!!
While I don't hold the posing against him, i do wonder what the outcry would have been if this were a female politician, or even a more liberal male politician!

Who CARES what the public response would have been. Political figure or not, this guy is delicious.
Ask Vanessa Williams what she thinks.
