Did you find the black cat in the Osborne light display at Disney this year?

Every year the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights goes up at Disney's Hollywood Studios during the holiday season. Every year one decoration goes up even though it's not exactly Christmasy.

Legend has it that when the original Osborne display was sent from Arkansas to Walt Disney World by Jennings Osborne in 1995, one Halloween decoration got mixed in. The black cat managed to work its way into the display before anyone questioned it.

Including the cat became a tradition, and he moves to a new spot every year. Sometimes he's easy to find, and sometimes he's elusive, but you'll always find him lurking somewhere.

The photo at the top of this article shows the cat's location for the 2012 holiday season. If you haven't found him yet, you have until January 6 to visit the park and locate his hiding spot (or ask a Cast Member if you can't find him).

Click the video at lower left to get a little sampler of the lights. They blink and twinkle to the music, putting on a show that would make Jennings Osborne proud. He passed away in July of 2011, but his legacy (and his black cat) lives on at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
