Did TV keep Justin Bieber in the top 15?

Justin Bieber's success isn't just evident in Twitter postings and letters -- you can also see his impact on the music charts. Seven weeks after debuting on the Billboard Hot 100, Bieber is still there at #14 with his new single "Baby" off of "My World 2.0." (The full album will hit stores on March 23.)

Who does he have to thank for it? His fans, certainly -- but also television. Justin is one of those rare performers whose appearance alone gets millions of fans riled up, and for evidence of that all you needed to see was his appearance on QVC earlier this week. He encourages fans to tune in, but his music, and support him in any way possible. He also has a variety of TV appearances lined up to continue to boost his celebrity.

Justin's next major stop will be on "The View" next Tuesday, and then there's the much-hyped performance on "Saturday Night Live" April 10. These events are spaced out enough to keep Biebermania going, but not so far apart that people will forget about him in the process.

Do you think Justin Bieber is smart with the way he is marketing himself on TV? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more news.
