Did the Mars Saturn conjunction cause an earthquake? The Mars Saturn conjunction that culminates on Monday August 25, 2014 is also inconjunct the planet Uranus forming what is called in astrology terms The Finger of God, which points to the planet Uranus in Aries. It's an active time and one that is surprising and sometimes shocking. Remember, all Moons, Full Moons and New Moons influence the ocean's tides and why not us. The Moon currently is close to the Earth now so it's effects are also potent. Did these planetary aspects cause more seismic activity? Perhaps so.

Inconjuncts like this one cause circumstances and events that are beyond our control, like earthquakes and bad weather. The Moon in Leo is a dark Moon and none-the-less aspected the culminating Mars-Saturn square, adding to the tenseness. It's the planet Uranus in Aries though that adds to the surprise value or the shock value.
