This recent video dated February 4, 2012, from TMZ.com shows Whitney Houston and Ray J together – and in the wake of her shocking death, conflicting reports of his presence or proximity to Houston after she was found dead is in question.

Initially according to CNN reporter Alan Duke, popular artist Ray J was the one who found Whitney Houston dead in the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Duke says he was told by Ray J’s friend -- a man who goes by the moniker “The Real Young Buck” – that Ray J was the one who found Houston dead, and that Ray J told him that he is distraught and “tripping right now.”

Minutes after that report was released, however, Duke came back on CNN to report that Ray J’s publicist has denied that Ray J was present – and says he did not find the superstar dead, and that he was nowhere near the premises.

Whitney Houston reportedly arrived at the Beverly Hills Hotel prior to Ray J’s arrival.

In the meantime, Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown is with Johnny Gill right now in Atlanta. Gill spoke with a CNN reporter and told her that Bobby is “struggling and devastated and he’s got all of his brothers around him right now” – and that Bobbi Kristina, Houston and Brown’s daughter, is not doing well. They are unaware whether Bobbi is in Los Angeles at this time.

Mark Rosen, a lieutenant with Beverly Hills Police Department, says they received a call at 3:23 p.m. PST. At 3:55 p.m Los Angeles time, Whitney Houston was pronounced dead. She was reportedly with an entourage – Rosen was unsure if Ray J was part of that group – however, certain persons were trying to revive her when the police arrived.

Houston was on the 4th floor of the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Her body is still in the hotel as of this writing. Coronary reports are pending and forthcoming, reported Lieutenant Rosen.
