Did Miley Cyrus' wild behavior stop Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus' divorce?

Miley Cyrus is dressing more seductively and her behavior is getting wilder. Her friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned.

Some of Miley’s fans, as well as others watching from the sidelines, feel that Miley is completely out of control.

Miley was devastated by rumors of her mother’s infidelity with Bret Michaels (which both parties denied.)

According to psychotherapist, Dr. Gilda Carle, since Miley blames herself for her parent’s divorce, she may be consciously or subconsciously acting out as a way of trying to get her parents, Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus back together again.

Since her 18th birthday last year, Miley’s already wild behavior has gotten progressively wilder.

There have been frequent reports in the last couple of years - accompanied by photos or videos – of revealing clothing worn by Miley Cyrus, or wild behavior on her part, including the recent reports below:

A recent video, which spread like wildfire on the internet, of Miley Cyrus smoking salvia from a bong, during a wild party at her place. (Salvia, an LSD-like hallucinogen is legal in California.)

Photos of a provocatively posed, and scantily clad Miley Cyrus acting shocked as her female assistant pretends to lick Miley’s breasts.

A video of Miley Cyrus giving producer, Adam Shankman an inappropriately sexy lap dance at The Last Song wrap party.

Onstage performances which simulate lesbian encounters, risqué behavior, and other inappropriate acts for a girl of her age.

There have been pictures of Miley wearing clothing in which Miley’s nipples were exposed.

It’s interesting to note, that as RadarOnline pointed out, in all of the “supposedly leaked” photos and videos of Miley's scandalous behavior, Miley is looking straight into the camera, fully aware that what she’s doing is being recorded for all the world to see.

Why Miley is Acting Out

As her 18th birthday approached last November, Miley said her birthday wish was that for the sake of their children, her parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus, give their marriage one more try.

Those close to Miley Cyrus are worried about her conduct. But psychotherapists, social workers, marriage / family counselors, and others who work with children of divorced parents know that Miley’s wild antics and seductive clothing are really a cry for help. A well-known psychotherapist sheds some light on why Miley’s behavior may be off the chart.

In an interview with Hollywood Life,Dr. Gilda Carle says that it’s no coincidence that some of Miley’s wildest behavior occurred after Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce.

In her Hollywood Lifeinterview, Dr. Carle goes on to say about Miley:

Miley knows what is appropriate and inappropriate.

Exposing herself is an act of defiance.

She’s acting out — acting like a bad girl, so sexualized, because she wants to force her parents to jump back in and act like her parents again and stop her.”

In view of this, Dr. Carle also makes the following observation.

“Miley has a lot of guilt and the only way she can remove it is if she can get her parents back together, first of all, by forcing them to discipline her in unison, but she may also be subconsciously sabotaging her career by destroying her wholesome image, which has been so popular.”

According to Dr. Carle, the wild behavior is Miley Cyrus’ subconscious was of trying to get her parents back together again, despite the rumors of infidelity.

The Fallout from Miley’s Wild Behavior

But because of Miley’s behavior, her reputation is now at stake.

Many think Miley Cyrus’ conduct has cost her popularity and fans, and Miley’s reputation may have taken a serious hit.

Indeed Miley’s wholesome “Hannah Montana” image seems to be a thing of the past.

After watching the video of Miley smoking salvia from a bong, a disgusted Bill O'Reilly told his viewers that Miley’s days of being a role model were over.

Some have even suggested that Miley’s new “wild child” image and irresponsible conduct were the reasons why Miley wasn’t nominated for a single People's Choice Award this year.

Miley’s Wild Behavior May Have Worked

There’s been no further word from the Cyrus camp about Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus’ divorce.

According to media reports, divorce papers from Billy Ray Cyrus were never served on Tish Cyrus within the required timeframe. Since the rumors of Trish’s infidelity were denied by both parties involved, perhaps Billy Ray had a change of heart?

Miley’s parents, Tish and Billy Ray have been seen together on several occasions. And although there’s been no official word from either Tish or Billy Ray, the general consensus is that the divorce is off.

Maybe Miley Cyrus’ wild behavior made Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus reconsider, and decide for Miley’s sake, to give their marriage another chance.
