Did Michael Jackson long for 'Xscape'? (Video)

Michael Jackson has been dead for nearly five years now, but his estate is combing through his vast collection of unreleased recordings and putting out an album on May 13 entitled "Xscape."

On April 9, the title track was released to the web and is embedded in a video published on YouTube by WebRadioCenter.

To say the least, the tune is prophetic.

Here's a sampling of just some of the lyrics:

"Everywhere I turn, no matter where I look, the system's in control, it's all run by the book, I got to get away, so I can free my mind."

Was Michael Jackson trying to tell his fans something?

MJ was known as being a perfectionist, especially when it came to his music. In his lifetime he collaborated with superstar musicians and producers all looking to catch some of his magic dust.

Apparently, that magic still has some potency and allows his fans to hear the master's voice once again, even if it's from beyond the grave.

It remains to be seen whether the rest of the album will have the same effect as the title track.
