Did Julia Roberts' actions lead to the suicide of half-sister Nancy Motes?

Just a few days ago news broke that Julia Roberts' half-sister Nancy Motes was found dead in a bathtub after what appeared to be a drug overdose. Motes was pet-sitting when she was discovered in the bathtub with both prescription and non-prescription drugs nearby. According to a Feb. 11 report from the New York Daily News, Nancy Motes left a suicide note which was a few pages long and blamed Julia Roberts for the way she felt. It looks like the overdose was intentional at this point with the note being found and several odd tweets sent out just weeks before Motes' body was found.

Nancy Motes is Julia Roberts' half-sister. The ladies share the same mother but have different fathers. Motes has spoken out about the battle she faced while growing up with Roberts. She believes that Roberts picked on her for everything including her weight and then when she shed the pounds, there was still no relationship between the two. Motes took to Twitter to vent about her half-sister and used several choice words to describe Roberts.

An autopsy was completed on Nancy Motes but the report has not yet been released. The coroner is waiting on additional toxicology reports. Julia Roberts has not commented on the controversy surrounding Motes' death, but fans are waiting for a statement. Motes blamed Roberts for how she felt and in doing so, led the world to believe she killed herself as a direct result of Roberts.
