Did Ayla's dad hide her body?

The father of missing tot Ayla Reynolds reportedly took a two hour road trip prior to reporting her missing -- and after learning that she was missing himself. Yahoo News writer Carol Bengle Gilbert reported this information on Feb. 13, 2013 along with other details that have been revealed by Ayla's loved ones. The details have sparked suspicion, even more so, against Justin DiPietro regarding the whereabouts of the missing girl.

The family members of the missing tot believe she died in the home of Justin DiPietro and then he traveled two hours away -- about 160 miles -- to dispose of her body. But where? This case just keeps producing twists and turns and it doesn't feel like there will be closure in the disappearance of Ayla Reynolds.

Justin DiPietro allegedly claimed that he was traveling to see if Trista Reynolds (the mother) had her, but as records show he did contact Trista at all, and went to a different part of Maine than where she lives. This is a blatant display of dishonesty by the father of the missing tot in a time where all eyes are on him. Officials in Maine have long acknowledged that Justin and his family have not been honest about what happened to Ayla the night she went missing, and it looks like this incident is part of that suspicion.

It's entering the second year of Ayla's disappearance with there being the same lack of answers as there were from the first week of the case. It looks like officials are aware of who their persons of interest are in this disappearance, but without the little girl's body it's going to be next to impossible to find actual closure.
