Dick Clark's 'Flintstone house' appears to be unsellable

The “Flintstone's” house, belonging to the estate of Dick Clark, is still on the market. It has been for almost a year, according to a report, dated Feb. 12 from TMZ, stated that even after a hefty discount, the Malibu home is still unsold.

Although the “Flintstone-style” home may not be for everyone, there is still the 23 acres of land with a 360-degree view of the Channel Islands, Boney Mountains, Pacific Ocean and Serrano Valley. Considering it is in Malibu, the new price of $3.25 million is still a bargain, despite the odd theme.

“I could work around the theme and make it work,” Samantha Evans, from Oklahoma City, said. “I'd even consider using it as a bed and breakfast, make enough money and build another house with a normal theme. I'm sure a lot of folks would love to spend the week-end in a 'Flintstone' house or one owned by Dick Clark.”

The house, based on the “Flintstone” cartoon, has been on the market since last March. It was put up for sale for about a month before Dick Clark passed away.
