Dice Clay Boston show, special taping cancelled

Andrew Dice Clay has cancelled his show in Boston.

One of the more interesting and anticipated shows at the Wilbur Theatre this year was to be the return of Andrew Dice Clay who was set to record his first comedy special in 15 years on August 24. Unfortunately, it was confirmed today that the show has been cancelled.

According to a tweet from the Wilbur Theater earlier in the day, the show had been cancelled and refunds would be available through the point of purchase. The Wilbur website just has an announcement that the show is postponed, more information will follow and fans are thanked for their patients.

Dice himself tweeted back on August 2 that not only were the Boston shows off but that the Showtime special would be moved from the Wilbur to the Arcada Theatre in Chicago.

Due ta fuckin politics in the entertainment industry I had ta change venues for my SHOWTIME Comedy Special . It will NOT be in Boston. It will be in Chicago @Arcada Theatre on August 25th... Boston show will be rescheduled

Exactly what the “politics in the entertainment industry” are have yet to be revealed but hopefully fans will get to see him sooner rather than later.
