Leonardo DiCaprio is enjoying one of his sweetest moments in life, professionally speaking. However, the actor confessed to the German publication, Bild, that he wants to take a break from acting and concentrate on an environmental campaign.
On Jan. 22 CBS reported that DiCaprio said, "I am a bit drained. I'm now going to take a long, long break. I've done three films in two years and I'm just worn out."
Furthermore, the 38-year-old said he wants to "improve the world" and travel around to help the environment.
For now, we can see DiCaprio in the spaghetti western tribute, "Django Unchained," where he plays the evil Calvin Candie, owner of the "Candyland" ranch which forces their slaves to participate in bloody fights.
Although the Academy has forgotten him this year, his performance in "Django Unchained" was nominated for a Golden Globe for best supporting actor, which was snatched by co-star Christoph Waltz.
Quentin Tarantino's film also won the prize for best director and is nominated for five Oscars.
For 2013, before DiCaprio takes a break, he has a key role in the pending release of two films: the remake of "The Great Gatsby" for the month of May and "The Wolf of Wall Street" which is directed by Martin Scorsese and will be released later this year.
In both films he will play the lead role, and the two have already been filmed and are in post production phase.
