A Dianna Agron snub is in the news this week as rumors are swirling that the "Glee" actress was purposely excluded from the show's Cory Monteith tribute. On Oct. 7, Mail Online reported that Agron -- who played Monteith's girlfriend on the show -- is not participating in the tribute episode because some current cast members and one crew member don't like her.
"The reason for the snub is alleged to be a widespread dislike of the actress, who was dropped from the musical comedy’s fifth season earlier this year," Mail Online reports. Many fans aren't too thrilled about this because Agron's character was a crucial part of Finn's life on the show.
The Dianna Agron snub was likely initiated by one person in particular who apparently doesn't like Agron and didn't want her involved. That would be Monteith's real-life girlfriend (and another "Glee" star) Lea Michele. "Lea Michele and series co-creator Ryan Murphy 'intensely dislike Dianna and have both worked to marginalize her as much as possible,'" shared a source.
The episode titled "The Quarterback" is a "Farewell to Finn" and is set to air this Thursday night on FOX. It is highly anticipated and millions will be tuning in -- with their tissues ready to go. The episode is rumored to be real, raw, and very emotional.
You'll see the Dianna Agron snub front and center -- and since you've read this, you won't be wondering why she's not in the episode (even if she's no longer a part of the "Glee" family). Was this the wrong move?
