The standout was a glimmering gold jumpsuit with a black fur capelet. Draped silhouettes were prominent throughout the collection. There was a hint of Studio 54 in the collection, which we know DVF is no stranger to. But it was the '70s done in a more modern manner with a ladylike edge.

Pantsuits are also back for fall, which means a fresh look for the season. While we've seen plenty of bright pants on the runways for a few seasons, but this was a bright pink pantsuit which was a breath of fresh air. When so many designers are showing jewel tones and dark hues for the fall season, DVF embraced shots of bold color. Mixed prints were strong int he collection, proving that this is one tricky style trend many of us will have to practice before trying it out next season.
