Diane Sawyer brown noses Hillary over congressional hearing on Benghazi

Reporting on Hillary Clinton’s testimony before the congressional committee investigating Al-Qaeda’s assassination of Ambassador Stevens on 9-11-12, ABC anchor Diane Sawyer described Clinton,

“The indignation. And then, the tears in her eyes,” Sawyer fawned and swooned over the secretary of state’s testimony: “It was a valedictory that showed her indignation and emotion as she ends this tenure on the public stage. ABC’s chief global affairs correspondent, Martha Raddatz, brings us the riveting encounter today.”

This pathetic and disgusting display of sycophantic worship by liberal journalists is sickening to those who recognize that the Obama Administration sacrificed the ambassador to Libya, two navy seals, and another America on the altar of Obama worship, their messiah at his second coming. Ambassador Stevens complained about the reduction in his security force and then begged for more as the situation at the American Embassy in Libya deteriorated over the summer. Then, on 9-11, a thousand Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda forces attacked.

Former Navy Seals, Tyrone Wood and Glen Doherty held them off for hours and called for help. But President Obama would send none. He would simply have our troops stand off as he ordered the defenders three times to stand down and allow the attackers to overrun the embassy. Wood and Doherty disobeyed the Command-in-Chief and held their ground until almost all the embassy staff escaped the Benghazi compound. They died in their heroic defense, as did the ambassador and one other American.

At her testimony to congress regarding this utter failure, Hillary Clinton cried when she spoke of hugging the family members of the fallen. Then, when asked why she and all of the Obama Administration spent the weeks after trying to say they died because some film maker made a movie offensive to Moslems, she erupted, “What difference does it make?” I’m sure the families are saying the same thing and don’t care why the Secretary of State, the person whose sole responsibility is foreign diplomacy and the oversight of America’s embassies says she didn’t know they were in danger.

In his second presidential debate, Obama claimed he said it was a terrorist attack and was supported by the moderator who wrongly declared he spoke truth. The transcript from the Rose Garden the next day proves otherwise. Obama blamed the video and announced during his campaign that Al-Qaeda was on the verge of defeat when they had just had their greatest success in eleven years.

So much so did Obama and his staff deny the truth, that Vice President Joe Biden, at the vice presidential debate, declared that no one at the top of the administration knew what was happening in Benghazi till it was too late. The vice president blamed Republicans for budget cuts causing reductions in embassy security, yet Republicans have had no say in how money is spent in the Obama Administration in four years. Democrats have been running a $1.3 trillion deficit above any Republican budget every year for four years. How could any department be short of money?

When Biden declared that the administration was not told that Ambassador Stevens was not asking for more security. So blatant was this lie that Paul Ryan gasped, but the liberal press backed Biden up. Republicans also failed in bringing the truth to light, even after the state department’s budget director said budget cuts had nothing to do with the reduction in security.

If Obama is to be believed, America had no satellites or any other asset to watch the attack as it took place over a ten hour period and no forces that could deal with the situation. If Obama is to be believed, he did not give any orders to the seals to stand down. If Obama is to be believed, no one had any idea that Libya, whose government had just been overthrown by Islamic Jihadists of the Muslim Brotherhood posed no threat to Americans. Obama and Clinton betrayed these people to Islamists and the liberal press betrayed Americans to their messiah.
