The Diane Lane divorce from beau Josh Brolin has become a trending topic on celebrity news searches this week, as Yahoo! News reported this Friday, Feb. 22, that Diane Lane filed for divorce from her husband on none other than Valentine’s Day, with the filing itself released this morning.
Lane’s move to end her marriage with the actor after eight and a half years together was officially filed this Feb. 15. The divorce papers reveal the divorce to have come as a result of “irreconcilable differences” that led to the couple’s breakup. No prenuptial agreement seems to be in place.
The two actors have no children together, and the Diane Lane divorce marks the end of a second marriage for both stars after they first tied the knot back in August 2004.
Diane Lane received an Oscar nod for her performance in “Unfaithful” back in 2002, and is also co-starring in the hotly anticipated Superman movie alongside Henry Cavill in “Man of Steel.”
Josh Brolin was nominated for an Oscar in “Milk” from 2008. The couple’s rep confirmed the two were divorcing this Thursday.
