Chanel hosted a benefit dinner over the weekend for the Natural Resources Defense Council’s Ocean Initiative and celebrity guests arrived carrying none other than Chanel on their arms. Celebrity guests such as Diane Lane, Courtney Cox and Amber Valletta paired Chanel handbags with their ensembles for the evening; giving the host of the event a nod of respect and honor.
Diane Lane arrived at the event wearing a Chanel cocktail dress in black which she paired with a classic Chanel evening clutch. The evening clutch carried by Diane Lane featured understated gold shimmer on the black quilted bag and boasted an unique Chanel logo that was reminiscent of a quiet stain-glass window. The Chanel clutch carried by Diane Lane featured a flap closure and was roomy enough to fit a small wallet, keys, smart phone and lipstick.
Courtney Cox paired a large Chanel, double chain strap handbag with her black and white tweed Chanel dress. Her handbag featured goldtone hardware and classic flap closure.
Amber Valletta showed up for the event wearing a classic black Chanel shoulder bag with one long shoulder strap. Valletta’ chain was gold and fit right into the long shoulder strap trend for 2011.
The Natural Resources Defense Council’s Ocean Initiative is one of the largest environmental action groups in the country. The organization has roughly 1.3 million members and is one of the most effective groups of its’ kind in the nation.
