Diane Lane and Josh Brolin honored at Oceana's SeaChange Summer Party

Diane Lane knows how to make a difference.

The star sizzled in a leopard Dolce & Gabbana dress on the arm of husband, Josh Brolin. The hollywood pair were in Laugna being honored at Oceana's SeaChange Summer Party which raised over $900,000 for Oceana.

Lane became interested in Oceana after reading Ted Danson's book, "Oceana: Our Endangered Oceans and What We Can Do to Save Them."

“She’s really embraced this like I’ve never seen her embrace anything,” said Josh Brolin of his wife, Diane Lane, when introducing her, “She’s been moved by this.”

“We are all here tonight out of love for our oceans, her bounty that feeds us, her beauty and her power that give us true awe,” commented Lane. “Oceana is where I turn for leadership in the changes that must be made to save the oceans. But it’s up to us to be pro-active, ambitious, far-reaching, deep-reaching in our pockets, demanding the changes in policies, lobbying for tougher laws and enforcing these changes with some teeth. Even if I were not here to speak tonight, I would be here to listen.”

The event, which was hosted by actress Angela Kinsey and actor Ted Danson and attended by other celebrities including Jeff Goldblum, Ed Begley Jr., Aimee Teegarden, Q’orianka Kilcher, Oscar Nunez and Austin Stowell.

Oceana is an international organization working to protect the world's oceans. Since 2001 they have protected over 1.2 million square miles of ocean and innumerable sea turtles, sharks, dolphins and other sea creatures.
