The marriage of Dian Lane and Josh Brolin has come to an end. Their divorce has been finalized according to UPI on Dec. 2 and the actress removed Brolin’s name from hers legally so she could resume using just ‘Diane Lane.’
Lane, 48, filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences" in February of this year. The couple was married for 8 years. They came to a private agreement regarding their financial settlement and Lane will not pursue spousal support from her ex.
Brolin, 45, is currently participating in an in-patient rehab program in northern California for substance abuse. He entered the program in late November. He was arrested in 2004 for misdemeanor domestic battery but Lane declined to press charges. He was arrested in 2008 for an altercation in a Louisiana bar but the charges were dropped. On New Year’s Day 2013, he was arrested for public intoxication. His film credits include “Milk”, “True Grit” and “No Country for Old Men.” This was the second marriage for Brolin.
Lane has starred in such films as “Perfect Storm”, Unfaithful, “Under the Tuscan Sun” and “Secretariat.” This was Lane’s second marriage. The couple has no children together.
