Diane Kruger plays the bad lady in “The Host,” and while she’s not a villain in real life, Kruger likes to believe she’s a pretty tough customer.
In fact, Kruger told Celebuzz.com that she believes she’d survive if she were living in a post-apocalyptic world similar to that of “The Host.”
“I would like to believe I would definitely survive,” Kruger told Celebuzz.com. “I mean, I’m pretty strong willed. I love backpacking. I don’t need a lot of stuff, so I think I’d do OK for a while.”
The movie is set in a world where parasitic aliens are invading the minds of human beings and erasing memories. The main character, Melanie, has been invaded, but she’s determined to fight against her alien and keep her memory.
Kruger’s character, named The Seeker, is determined to make sure Melanie fails in her efforts.
The movie, which is based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer, is scheduled to be released on March 29.
