Mexican authorities are looking for a female vigilante whom they say is killing bus drivers in the border town of Ciudad Juarez, according to the New York Post today. Police say, a woman known as "Diana the hunter of bus drivers" aka "Diana la cazadora de choferes," killed two bus drivers to get revenge for all the women who have been raped and sexually violated in Ciudad Juarez.
According to witnesses, a woman wearing black clothing and a blonde wig, entered the bus and fired direct shots at the bus drivers. Both drivers were struck in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Univision Noticero, a local station received an email from Diana, where she admitted to the killings. In the email, the vigilante stated that the killings were in retaliation for years of sexual abuse by bus drivers, who frequently picked up female passengers after completing the night shift in the local Mexican factories.
Jose Roberto Flores Carrera, 45, and Fredy Zarate Morales, 32, are the names of the two bus drivers who were gunned down during their shift.
Local Mexican authorities are doing every thing possible to capture the lone vigilante killer. Police say the killings occurred last week. The mystery woman looks to be about 50 years old.
