Diana Ross needs no introduction, even if she is without her makeup, as one photographer recently attested, catching the Motown celebrity out running errands in nothing more than a jogging outfit. But when the legendary singer received her recent lifetime achievement award, she was far from plain looking, decked out in her usual glamorous attire and looking like the R&B queen that she has always been. And on February 24, it is being reported by LeHigh Valley Live that she will be performing for the second anniversary event of the Sands Bethlehem venue very soon.
Diana Ross will command between $60 and $90 per ticket for her June 26 concert scheduled for 8 p.m. But if she were paired with Julio Iglesias she could command even more, as the two remain in-demand entertainers that can really heat up a stage, despite their age.
Ross, 69, and Iglesias, 70, joined together for the duet "All of You" years ago, when they were both young and in their prime. And based upon Julio's recent publicity during his current world tour, he's still got the same charisma now that he had when he and Ross flirted in the passionate song's music video. In fact, Julio Iglesias is still raising women's blood pressure in Miami as late as this weekend. But wouldn't it be great to see him and Diana Ross singing together again?
Music duets seem to have been much more popular years ago, when singers like Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers created such memorable hits like "Islands in the Stream" and Johnny Mathis and Denice Williams sang "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late". But some of those older singers are rejoining forces and producing new songs, like Parton and Rogers, who have come out with "You Can't Make Old Friends".
