Diagon Alley celebs at Universal, Part 1: Phelps brothers, Evanna Lynch and more

When Universal Orlando Resort celebrated the media preview of Diagon Alley last week, there were plenty of celebrities on hand to chat with the press about the amazing new area. Even though the actors appeared in the movies, most of their time was spend on sets that were basically shells or in front of green screens. Thus, even for them, this latest addition to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a new experience because they get to experience it in 3D rather than as a working movie set.

One of the celebrity panels feature five beloved stars from the movies. Click the video accompanying this article to hear what they had to say in the question and answer session filmed in the Leaky Cauldron. The stars on this panel are:

  • James Phelps, better known in the movies as Fred Weasley
  • Oliver Phelps, his brother in real life who plays his brother George Weasley
  • Evanna Lynch, who plays Luna Lovegood in the films
  • Matthew Lewis, better known in the movies as Neville Longbottom
  • Bonnie Wright, who plays the role of Ginny Weasley (and future wife of Harry)
