"Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls" will make its official debut on November 8 when it is demoed at Blizzcon using a Sony Playstation 4.
The original "Diablo III" finally hit consoles this summer after spending years as a game that could only be played on a PC. The announcement that the game will be available on the PS4 continues Blizzard's assault on the console gaming market.
The company announced this expansion to their ultra-popular dungeon crawler at Gamescom this August. It appears that Sony and Blizzard don't want to waste any time in making sure people see what they have to offer.
While death literally walking the earth is the biggest change from the first game, there are also more classes to play as and more world to explore.
The timing honestly couldn't come at a better time for either company. The PS4 is being released to the world on November 15, just one week after gamers get their hands on this title.
Blizzard, in turn gets to cash in on not only the excitement of a new game, but the massive hype that has surrounded the Playstation 4.
There is no official release date for "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls" but it seems likely that it can't be too far off if a playable version is indeed less than a month away.
