PAX East is going down in Boston this weekend and Twitch TV announced Wednesday that it will be streaming a number of events and panels from the game conference. This list includes Diablo III running on the Playstation 3, demos of Injustice: Gods Among Us, panels featuring the likes of Blizzard Entertainment and a $10,000 tournament for the Hi-Rez Studios action MOBA title, Smite.
Twitch will start streaming the first PAX East panels on Friday morning at twitch.tv/pax with a Blizzard panel at 10 a.m. EST followed by "Storytime with Cliff Bleszinski" at 10:30 a.m. EST. The feed will then run all the way through Sunday at 6:30 p.m. EST with different panels and evening concerts at the conference.
The streaming service will also have its own booth on site where it will interview various game developers and show off demos at the twitch.tv/twitch link. This includes a look at Diablo III running on the PS3 Saturday at 1 p.m. EST, gameplay demos of Injustice: Gods Among Us every day of the conference at 2 p.m. EST and livestreams of the $10,000 Smite tournament presented by Alienware.
Not everyone can make it to PAX East to check out all the latest games but its good that gamers will have the opportunity to check out some of what is happening through Twitch.
