The recent news of "Diablo III" making it's way to the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4, quite a few people started to wonder if the game would have cross connectivity with it's PC cousins and with Battle.net. It turns out, it won't have either.
Blizzard announced this afternoon that the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 ports of the game will not be able to connect with the PC version of the game as well as Battle.net.
"In terms of allowing an analog controller hookup for the PC, we don't have any plans for that kind of support right now. Since "Diablo 3" for console was designed with a controller in mind, the PlayStation version of "Diablo 3" will not support USB mice or keyboards," said a Blizzard representative via the Battle.net forums.
Even though the game won't connect to PC players, it will support offline play and will ship with all of the updates the PC version already has. So it's not the end of the world.
"Diablo III" for the PS3 and PS4 is expected to launch later this year.
