Blizzard announced yesterday, shortly after Sony revealed the Playstation 4, that their popular loot-based dungeon game “Diablo III” will be headed to both the Playstation 3 and the next-gen PS4. This is the first time the action-RPG will be on a home system and the game is being retooled with the console experience in mind with new controls and improved camera perspective to properly bring “Diablo III” to Playstation family of consoles.
The PS3 and Playstation 4 version of “Diablo III” will feature everything the currently PC-only game has to offer including all updates to the title. Blizzard states that they already have the game running on a Playstation 3 in their office and are hard at work making sure the action, flow, and looting of the dungeon crawler can not only be brought to the Sony consoles but actually tailored to the Playstation systems.
“Diablo III” is currently available only on PC but fans can expect to play the widely popular loot game on the Playstation 3, and the upcoming Playstation 4, soon.
