For the diabetic, controlling food and carbohydrate intake is the first line of action in maintaining healthy blood sugar levels. However, there are many other ways to assist in controlling those blood sugar levels.
The Winchester Diabetes Team offers monthly lectures/discussions on a variety topics related to diabetes. Everyone is welcome. You do not need to be diabetic to attend.

Dr. Menard is a competitive runner who has provided medical coverage at numerous sporting events, including the 2012 Olympic Games. He has an active clinical sports medicine practice and was recently inducted into the Canadian Forces Sports Hall of Fame.
