DHC 2012 product launch with Dancing With The Stars Karina Smirnoff

On December 14th, 2011 DHC Skincare hosted Garden of Beauty at the Minna Gallery In San Francisco. The event celebrated the launch of the new make up and skin care must haves for 2012. DHC President Gary Gauntt and special guest (2011 champion of ABC’s hit show "Dancing with the Stars") Karina Smirnoff were of attendance.

The Ukrainian beauty made her first appearance on Dancing With The Stars in Season 3. Smirnoff  became the champion professional partner in the thirteenth season, when she was partnered with army veteran and soap opera star J.R. Martinez. Now she lends her beautiful face to skincare companies such as DHC.
“ I am excited to try all the new products DHC is launching today. I love the brand and I am honored to be their special guest tonight. I am really excited to be in San Francisco too,” Karina states candidly

Over 500 guests enjoyed product sneak-peeks, make ups demos, swag bags while savoring tasty hors d'oeuvres and sipping cocktails.
“ We are coming out with an unprecedented line of make up, that DHC has never seen before. The pigments are rich, vibrant and they still have the beneficial ingredients DHC is known for,” mentions the delightful Miles Perdiguerra, Marketing Director for DHC USA.

“ After discovering an exceptional grade of olive oil in Spain, and learning more about olive oil’s positive effects on skin Mr. Yoshiaki Yoshida, DHC’s owner saw the potential of making the world a healthier and more beautiful place,” she adds.

When asked what the most exciting products of the launch were, Gary Gauntt President of DCH USA shares:
“We are really excited about our Pore series, it has a lot of technology and time release elements. The products aim at reducing pores. This line is simply amazing. We are also very proud of our eye shadow collection.”
“ We are aiming at being more organic and make it easier with a home delivery process that emulates the simplicity of our products ,” adds Gauntt.

DHC eco-conscious approach as a business relies on its use of organic olive oil as a key ingredient for most of their products. They reduced carbon footprint, as they are mostly an on-line business and are the number one direct mail skincare company in Japan. Their ingredients are tested for their purity without adding unnecessary coloring agents or irritating fragrances.

The San Francisco Green Living Examiner’s note: The Deep Cleansing Oil is a big winner at our office. (It was gentle enough to use after an eye surgery). It is also water soluble, which makes it easy to use. Our writing team is already raving about the new Eye Shadow Palettes, Face Highlighter, Bio Cellulose Mask and multifunction Olive Oil Swabs.
