The band recently finished recording their latest album, Immediate Family, which will be released on Maximum Ames Records.

Dead Larry got their start in Iowa City several years back. The funk rock dance band then moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2011. You can listen to "Your Funky Friends" from the band's first full-length album, entitled Story Time, in the nearby video box.

Starting out as Porno Galactica, Utopia Park eventually changed their name to honor the trailer park that they grew up in in Fairfield, Iowa. The electronica band's 2011 Conquest of Dreams Tour produced Utopia Park's 13-track Summer Tour Sampler.

Fairfield, Iowa also produced electro-pop dance duo Trouble Lights. Singer Adrien Daller and producer Philip Rabalais released their debut album, The Endless Prom, on Maximum Ames Records earlier this year.

Doctor Murdock came together in Clarion, Iowa a couple of years back. Now relocated to Ames, the quintet continues to home its trademark sound that incorporates rock, alternative, blues, Latin, dance, and psychedelia.
