Sketching in the Galleries for Kids. Dallas Museum of Art. Families are invited to sketch from original works of art. All supplies are provided. 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Free admission with a general museum admission ticket. Studio Creations. Use a family gallery guide to explore fashion and creativity in the collection and then visit the studio to design a mini costume for a superhero, dog, or princess. For more fashion inspiration, visit The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk. 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Free admission with a general museum admission ticket. Bancroft Family Concert Series. The University of North Texas Faculty Woodwind Quintet will perform in the Horchow Auditorium. 3:00 p.m. Free admission. Arts & Letters Live: Wit & Wisdom. Dave Barry, Pulitzer Prize-winning humorist, and Alan Zweibel, winner of the Thurber Prize for American Humor, form the “League of Comic Justice” for their new book, Lunatics. The former Class Clown and the creator of Roseanne Roseannadanna will have you in stitches and rolling in the aisles at this event. 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $37 or less. Magnolia at The Modern will feature The Man Nobody Knew. Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Showtimes 12 noon, 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Tickets $6.50 for members and $8.50 for nonmembers. Noon tickets are half-price.
