Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO) will be making an appearance on the Xbox and XBLA later this year. The side-scrolling, street-fighting, JWong-community-repping MMORPG will soon be available to a whole new host of possible fans thanks to a publishing agreement between Nexon and Microsoft Game Studios.
This will be Nexon's first foray into the console world, after releasing a slew of popular PC F2P titles such as MapleStory, Vindictus, Combat Arms, and the lesser known and often lamented MapleStory iTCG.
Xbox and the console together seem like a winning and incredibly natural combination, as the game itself plays like an old-school brawler like Final Fight or Streets of Rage combined with all the bells and whistles of the console fighter.
The the game arguably plays much better with a joystick or fightstick, and many players that currently enjoy the PC version are already plugging in Xbox controllers to get the most out of their DFO experience.
The XBLA version of DFO will be localized into English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, German, Italian, and French.
