Michael C. Hall, one of the most accomplished TV actors in Hollywood, is currently battling a rare form of cancer known as Hodgkin's lymphoma. The actor, who is best known for his roles in "Dexter" and "Six Feet Under" describes the disease in a statement as "treatable and curable." He has been receiving treatment at a facility in Los Angeles, and the disease (which is now in remission) will not impact the actor's participation in season five of the popular Showtime drama. He will also be able to attend both the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where he is nominated for his work,
Hodgkin's lymphoma has been in the headlines already in the past year thanks to former "Survivor" winner Ethan Zohn. Zohn's cancer returned after one round of chemotherapy, and he has spent much of 2010 in isolation after receiving a form of stem-cell therapy to recycle his white blood cell count.
