Fans of the psychological thriller, “Dexter,” are anticipating its return on television after such a dramatic finale. On Saturday, Feb. 2, star of the crime drama Jennifer Carpenter took it to her Twitter to tease fans about the script for season eight.
“Our first read-through was today,” Jennifer Carpenter writes. “I can’t say anything, but…we’re gonna wear u the f*ck out!! Rest up! You’re gonna need it ;)” Looks like some of the stars got together to go over the final draft of the script, and it’s a good one! Season seven was already exhaustingly suspenseful, so fans are bracing themselves for what’s to come in season eight.
Spoiler TV revealed late last month that according to Steadicam Operator for “Dexter,” Eric Fletcher, season eight will begin shooting on Monday, Feb. 11. This is possibly the last season for “Dexter,” but nothing is official yet and there is still hope for at least one more.
“Dexter” returns to Showtime for season 8 on June 30.
