Earlier this month, “Dexter” spoilers surfaced about two important new characters joining the psychological thriller. Full details of one of those characters were released yesterday, and on Saturday, Jan. 26, TV Line has got the scoop on the second character.
The character is Jacob Elroy, described as, former cop who owns his own private eye business.” TV Line reports that the role has been given to Sean Patrick Flanery. According to the source, Elroy will play a major part in the series. “Dexter” fans are speculating that Elroy will be hired by Angel Batista, to investigate the murder of his ex-wife LaGuerta.
Flanery is known for his work in “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles,” “The Young and the Restless,” “CSI,” and “Breaking In.”
The second role is for Dr. Evelyn, “a formidable and whip smart neuro-psychiatrist who assists the law in profiling criminals.” Dr. Evelyn will be played by Charlotte Rampling.
