American Devin Logan had to feel great on Tuesday after she beat all odds and won a silver medal in the Olympic Slopestyle Skiing. The athlete had a strong run at the Winter Games and she seemed to be all smiles when she realized she won a medal. According to the Washington Post on Tuesday, the second run was big but wasn't as clean as needed to win the gold.

The athlete has much to be thankful for after her injury in 2012. A fall destroyed her knee. There was a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus, plus two microfractures. It looked like Logan’s career on the slopes was over. However the athlete battled back hard and after a year rehabilitating she returned to the course to try for a medal.

Another Team USA hopeful was Keri Herman. The skier was in 10th place in the Olympic Slopestyle Skiing debut after a tough time on the slopes. While the athlete was strong, she seemed to have an issue with nerves at the beginning and then an issue with elements and rough landings.
