The long awaited Devil May Cry game hits the Playstation Store today. The fanbase is quite divided, with some believing that the game will suck, and pointing to the demo as proof. Honestly, this one wasn't impressed with said demo, especially the boss... But then, it takes quite a bit for a demo to impress me. Others believe that the team will be able to capture at least a bit of the old DMC charm. Which group will be proven right?
DmC wasn't the only thing to drop on the Store today, however. Angry Birds Trilogy joined Dante in the digital lineup. The new PSP game that hit the store is Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, a game that takes place before and during the original game. The Vita gets a new app titled Wake-up Club, and the PSP gets a few new bundles as well, namely the Farm Frenzy Bountiful Harvest pack and the Montezuma Well-Rounded Player Bundle.
Those who have been hoping that Siren or Disgaea: Hour of Darkness would come to the PSS as PS2 Classics have to hope no more, as both the horror (Siren) and S-RPG (Disgaea) have decided to make an appearance, satisfying the hopes and dreams of said gamers.
Finally, the PS+ update. This week Darksiders is the free offering, and Stardrone Extreme joins it as a discounted item (to be specific, a whopping 50% off). Darksiders is an Action/Adventure game in which you take the role of one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, namely War. You discover that your brothers have yet to arrive, and, shockingly enough, the seal that would call all four of you to the Earth has not be broken. Will you be able to find it and call your brothers to you? Or are there deeper plots going on that you are unaware of?
I won't bother covering the add-ons that are now on sale, but if you're interested you can check out the official announcement.
