On March 20 singer-songwriter Devendra Banhart announced headlining tour dates on his official Facebook page for the spring of 2013. The North American tour begins May 4 in Aspen, Colo. and ends on June 12 in Philadelphia. Devendra Banhart will be performing in Chicago on May 31 at Park West.
During Devendra Banhart's spring 2013 North American tour the singer will perform 20 concerts over a five and a half week time span. He will be touring in support of his eighth studio album, "Mala" which was released on March 12 via Nonesuch Records. The album "Mala" is the first full length solo studio album Banhart has released since "What Will We Be" in 2009.
Pre-sale tickets are currently on sale here. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning March 22. Fans going to his concert at Park West in Chicago must be at least 18 years-old to attend.
