Another single family community will take up land north of Carmel Valley Road in the Pacific Highlands Ranch area. San Diego city councilmembers approved the developers map this week. Meadowlands community will grow amidst walker friendly communities.

The vacant 2.2 acres in the low density development land has already been graded, and will be fully graded after the developer gets city permits.

Multi-family housing developments and single family developments surround the location north of Ted Williams Freeway. Communities north of the 57 freeway have open green spaces and trails that connect homes in the community, and, serve as a path to nearby communities.

Residents in the new community will take a landscaped entry and sidewalk into lot rows of single family homes with two car garages. Guests in the community will park in one of six spaces.

Two turf park areas take up two lots on the acreage.

Plans to replace parts of the open space were designed to accomplish a common goal in the Pacific Highlands Ranch area. Raise the use of walking inside the community, and outsside. The developer still might have to pay a development impact fee for taking up open land.

The Carmel Valley Community Planning Board approved the community development plan last April.
