Detroit photography Exhibit at the DIA

The Detroit Institute of Arts and Conde Nast have joined together in the creation of “Detroit — Bruce Weber,” an exhibit showing nearly 80 photographs of various aspects of Detroit. These photos were taken by photographer and filmmaker Bruce Weber. Shown are faces of well known Detroiters as well as familiar landmarks from the area; something appealing to all Detroit lovers. This exhibit runs through Sept. 7 2014.

Exhibit hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. The Detroit Institute of Arts is located at 5200 Woodward in. Entry to the museum is free to those within the tri-county area. Visit www.dia.org for more information on the DIA and its exhibits.
