Brad Keselowski is a 25 year old NASCAR driver that hails from Rochester Hills, Mi.
He is from a family deeply connected to the NASCAR world. His father, Bob, use to own a NASCAR Camping World Truck series team and found a lot success in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s with Dennis Setzer and Terry Cook driving his entry. In 2004 Dad brought Brad to the Truck series driving the family owned entry.
In 2005 Brad completed a full Camping World Truck series schedule finishing 21st in the points on the strength of one top 10 finish. While that was not overly impressive it earned young Brad a shot with Keith Coleman’s Nationwide series team.
Throughout 2006 and 2007 Brad made 20 starts for Coleman’s team and while the results hadn’t come along yet this stint of Brad’s career brought him to the attention of Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Then Junior, and his JR Motor Sports Nationwide series team, were struggling to find a little consistency. Junior had Mark McFarlane, and Shane Huffman driving the #88 US Navy sponsored and along with under performing this duo was tearing up a lot of equipment.
By the 20th race at Chicago in 2007 Junior turned over the #88 to Brad full time on a race by race basis. If Brad could do well, his tenure tin the car would continue. Of course now we are two full seasons later, and Brad is still driving the car for Junior.
Without a doubt though, the highlight of young Brad’s career was winning the Sprint Cup race at Talladega in the spring of 2009. While Brad is looking for a full time cup opportunity in 2010, he is driving full time for JR Motor Sports in the Nationwide series, and part time schedules with both Hendrick Motor Sports, and Phoenix Racing on the Cup side.

I can tell you something else that Brad Keselowski is. He is the next Jimmie Johnson. Bank on it.
No man he is the next Jeff Gordon without some of the drama. He came up to sprint cup at a time where Joey logano was the "next big thing" and he proved he is better. He just doesn't have a shot. Jeff proved everyone in te same time and beat a guy. And guess who they both drive for hendrick. Rick is a smart man.
That works. I like your analogy better, Steven.
Brad Keselowski is the next Jeff Gordon.
