There are many intriguing games on the Week 5 NFL schedule and one of them could be the changing of the guard in the NFC North. The Detroit Lions will head to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers tomorrow afternoon with a chance to break one of the longest losing streaks in sports.

If you don’t follow the Lions you wouldn’t understand why this seemingly meaningless Week 5 battle means a lot to Detroit.

According to a Sportsline report on Oct 5, the Lions will try to snap a 22-game Wisconsin skid against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Nineteen of those losses came at Lambeau while three were played in Milwaukee. The Lions' last road win against the Packers was Dec. 15, 1991 in Green Bay, and they'll look to snap that slide after ending a nearly 68-year drought at Washington with a 27-20 victory Sept. 22.

Now that’s a long time.

Here’s where I get confused. I know it may be easy to confuse me, but hear me out.

The Lions have a great QB in Matt Stafford, the best WR in Calvin Johnson and an improving running game with Reggie Bush and Joique Bell.

So why in the world are they getting 7 and a half points?

I may be a big Lions fan, so I could be looking at this game through my Honolulu Blue and Silver glasses, but I also love to hit Vegas every season for the games and try to make some cash. This spread doesn't add up no matter how I slice it.

1.Detroit is 3-1, the Packers are 1-2.

2.The Lions actually look good on offense, the Packers give up tons of yards in the air.

3. No one can stop Megatron.

What am I missing here?

Las Vegas sports lines are usually set for a reason, and believe me when I say they are rarely wrong. These guys know what they are doing in Sin City.

I don’t know if its fool’s gold, but this line looks too big.

The last two weeks of the weekly picks have gotten better, and so have the Lions.
