The Detroit Lions celebrated with an N'SYNC dance in the end zone after a touchdown... well, at least one player did anyway. After catching a touchdown pass, Joseph Fauria broke out in the "Bye, Bye, Bye" dance that N'SYNC fans know all too well. On Sept. 23, NewsOXY reported that Fauria (the Lions' rookie tight end) put on a little show after his smooth catch.
"For his second career touchdown, scored Sunday in Detroit's game against the Washington Redskins, the youngster from UCLA took it back to those halcyon days of boy bands, CDs and when love between two former Mickey Mouse Club members turned pop stars seemed like it'd be everlasting," NewsOXY reported.
The Detroit Lions N'SYNC dance got attention on many news stations after it aired. People have been watching Fauria get down and it's really something that people seem to be into. Sure, plenty of football players get put on some kind of a show in the end zone after completing a touchdown pass -- but to see a white guy do synchronized dance moves from an N'SYNC video? You totally have to watch it.
Fauria is the new guy but so far, he's doing pretty good. If you're a Lions fan, you'll likely be seeing many more end zone dances from him in the not-so-distant future.
Check out the Detroit Lions N'SYNC dance in the video above. Oh, and for the record, Joseph Fauria danced last week too (synchronized and undoubtedly from somewhere but no one has figured it out yet apparently).
