They have caught 14 of the Lions’ 16 touchdown passes, have 105 pass receptions, amassed 1,447 receiving yards and compiled 265 fantasy football points..
They are Detroit’s “Towers of Power” (acronym - 4TOPs) and their average height is just a fraction under 6-feet, 6-inches and average weight is 243 pounds. To opposing defensive backs, they look as tall as the towers at the GM Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit (see related photo).
You probably know them better as wide receiver Calvin Johnson (aka “Megatron”), wide receiver Kris Durham, tight end Brandon Pettigrew and tight end Joseph Fauria. With any combination of the four players in the game, you can expect quarterback Matthew Stafford to throw at least one “jump ball” during each offensive drive with the expectation that his receiver will catch it.
The accompanying slideshow takes an in-depth look at each Tower of Power.
