Ryan Gosling will be in the D next month to start shooting How to Catch a Monster, and he's still in need of some of the principal roles in the movie.
According to Ryan Hill Casting on Facebook, which is doing the casting for the movie, one of the roles that still needs an actor is that of Frankie, a 2-3 year old boy. Frankie's description is:
FRANKIE: (Male, 2-3 year old), Caucasian or Bi-racial (must be half White)
A "feral" like boy who is constantly getting into trouble for tying to escape his school and house. Quiet ,but with an expressive face and deeply active internal life. Because of the lack of lines for this character, there should be an imaginative quality as if he lives in a make believe world he has created.
MUST LIVE IN DETROIT OR WITHIN 3 HOURS DRIVING DISTANCE FROM DETROIT. Identical twins, triplets, quadruplets, etc. are especially encouraged to submit.
DISCLAIMER: Please be aware some of the scenes with Frankie may include a simulated house burning down, child running into simulated controlled traffic, and a dressing room scene which may have partial nudity by other actors.
Please e-mail recent snapshots or video with contact info to: htcam@jv8inc.com
If there is interest you should be avail for in person casting in Detroit the week of the 15th.
The deadline for applying for this role is April 22nd.
Ryan Hill Casting is also doing the casting for the new TV show Low Winter Sun - check the Facebook page for more details on how to apply to be an extra in this show, which will start filming in Detroit soon.
