Detroit Auto Show 2013: A picture is worth a thousand words (Photos)

This year’s Detroit Auto Show, held from January 14-27, drew automobile fans and car manufacturers from around the world as formed steel, chrome, and electronics melded into amazing mechanical works of art.

A full plethora of new cars crowded into the huge auditorium located at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan today where tens of thousands of individuals snapped photos, gathered brochures, and asked questions about the latest offerings from car makers.

This year’s auto show had a healthy representation of electric and hybrid cars on display, but along with these fuel stingy creations were high-tech wonders that had little regard for fuel economy that blatantly stated one message—we’re fast and we’re expensive.

For those who can’t attend the Detroit Auto Show this year, we’ve gathered a small sampling of what adorned the display turntables and showcases throughout the exhibit hall.

We’ll let the images speak for themselves because as the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words.
