Detroit, MI- With the recent news of my sister been one of the latest victim of an attempted robbery on a local bus, some Detroit school children has reported being robbed while waiting for the bus on their way to school.
Thieves are getting bolder in Detroit, they are striking in broad daylight and not caring who's around to see them in action. Unlike my sister, who defended herself with a 9mm; the children have been more vulnerable.
One child from recent robbery, talk to a local news crew describing her ordeal. While waiting on Grandriver near St. Mary street, she and several other children were vitctimized. Robbed of their belonging which included items such as cell phones and money.
These thieves really are taking changes, since police at one time would ride the buses in Detroit. But now with recent police lay-off's...this really is giving thugs the green light to do whatever they want to innocent people.
Question: Should bus drivers be allow to carry guns to protect themselves and passengers?
