There was a plethora of concept art for Destiny for various game environments on Earth, Mars, Venus and other locations. Bungie literally produced hundreds of different concepts during the development of the game but they would need a way to go from concept to in-game reality.

The tool that Bungie came up with is called Grognok: Creator of Worlds and should look somewhat familiar to those that have used Forge in Halo 3 only much more powerful and complicated. The tool allows the designers to carve terrain, place objects and adjust lighting.

You can check out the Grognok tool in action building a moon base in our video gallery.

Destiny is coming to the PS4, PS3, Xbox 720 and Xbox 360 but a release date has not yet been announced.
