After news hit of an upcoming Destiny's Child compilation album, the collection's sole new track was released to the Internet on Friday. Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams reunite on “Nuclear,” a dance ballad produced by Pharrell Williams.
Adding to the attention behind Knowles' Super Bowl performance next month, Destiny's Child confirmed they will drop a new compilation album entitled “Love Songs.” The set features the trio's best amorous tracks along with new tune “Nuclear.”
The Pharrell-produced “Nuclear” was released to SoundCloud. He co-wrote it with D.C. member Williams, James Fauntleroy, and Lonny Bereal. Over a '90s house-inspired sound, Destiny's Child sensually sing about about an intense love session: “It's nuclear with you here / We both heat up / Going all the way,” they sing. All three ladies get their croon on like the old days.
“Love Songs” will be released on January 29. Destiny's Child are rumored to reunite in-person for a medley of their hits during Knowles' Super Bowl set on February 3.
