A new “Destiny” commercial for the PS4 has been released. According to a report from Kotaku on March 11, a new television advertisement campaign for the video game was started over the past weekend. The video shows off the sharing features of Sony’s next-generation system as players can record gameplay moments and shared the videos with friends.

With “Destiny” being approximately six months away from release, Kotaku believes that Sony may have aired the commercial in order to counter the hype surrounding the launch of “Titanfall” on the Xbox One, which came out earlier this week.

Sony currently has a deal with Activision and Bungie that will give PS3 and PS4 players first access to the multiplayer beta. The two console versions are also going to get exclusive DLC packs. On the other hand, Microsoft partnered with Electronic Arts in order to keep “Titanfall” as a console exclusive for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

“Destiny” is coming out for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Sept. 9 while the multiplayer beta should begin later this summer. “Titanfall” is now available on the PC and Xbox One with the Xbox 360 version being released in several weeks on March 25.

A batch of screenshots from both first-person shooting video games can be found with the slideshow to the left of this article.
